severe weather

There are so many things about severe weather that I love....and yes, I am aware of how that sounds

• I love when the county I live in gets put into ANY kind of an alert, watch or warning
• the way the rain smells just as it begins to fall
• they even make tiny t-shirts about severe weather 

• the way the clouds can tell an entire story especially if you watch them for a long time (which I happen to do)

• the LOUDEST thunder that rattles your walls
• cloud to ground lightning aka CG



• HAIL...Huge ass hail
• when tumble weed goes racing across the road mmmkay and when your not from around here it looks like a small tree passing by. weird
• the sound of a siren
• Splashing in rain boots

• the weather radio going off and scaring me
• the smells from a hard rain or hail (except out here in Larimer county) if you live here you know exactly what I'm talking about
• motherships!

• Storm Chasing~

• rainbows
• looking at radar and seeing THIS

• rumbling thunder that goes on forever!
• the dominator

• Booby clouds or more commonly know as Mammatus clouds

I am CRAVING severe weather.  Hope it comes in like a BOSS!

SAVING OUR PENNIES!

Setting goals is easy... it's trying to achieve them that takes discipline!   We counted the money in Angelo's piggy bank this week. 

He wants to save his money for a certain Star Wars "MAN" he has been eyeing at walmart.  He is doing chores to earn the money but keeps saying "Chairs and Churs" instead of CHORES. 

He makes me laugh so hard the way he pronounces things and gets confused about words still.  I think I will be sad when Angelo has mastered the English language.  One of my favorite things that he ever said was about James,

"Hims workin on Hims puter" a hah ha hah  I LOVE IT......  or recently he was hiding behind the curtains and said, "MOM, guess where is I"  haaa ah ahah

Angelo has saved $10.61 and counting!!!  We counted the money James and I are collecting too.... we had $45.40!    I am proud of Angelo and will encourage him to continue saving!!!

I was thinking of teaching him these terms too.... C note, Grand, buck, moolah, single, dough, five-spot, deuce, bones and Benjamins??!!!  ha!
