Bittersweet~

The boys started school this week!
So for Morgan Wondering who Morgan is? it meant a new school, Eighth grade and the anticipation of making new friends! There were tears, deep breaths and a few, "I think I am sick" but he pulled it together and with alittle help from Dad (walking him in) he had a great first day at Bill Reed Middle School~ and today like a true teenager I could BARELY get him out of bed for day 2!

For Angelo this meant alot of excitement, conversations about leaving yankey (see blue crusty nasty blankey that he uses for comfort) at home and just one, "I think I'm sick"!

Perhaps I need to use Yankey today while he is at school~

I have bittersweet feelings today!

Of course I am so excited for my little man and hope he learns to love school.

I wonder if he's sitting Cris-Cross applesauce, or learning to raise his hand when he has something to say...what books will they read today?

I hope that Mr.Wride will give him a hug if he needs one and helpful reminders of the class rules! I hope that he will make some friends and eat all of this lunch! I pray that Jesus sends his special angels to protect him and prompt him to make good choices!

Just another Sunday in Colorado!

I love days like today...hiking, biking, cooking and Laughing, Lot's of Laughing!
We went to church last night which was AMAZING....
The message was "the difference between being Open to a relationship with Christ or Hungry for one"
and "don't sweat the small stuff"! a hah ah aha h mmmkay REALLY?
OK ~~cause I've pretty much got that covered!!!! mmmkay!~~
You mean God actually takes care of even the small stuff?!!!!
OK, this feels scary but I'm Handing it over.
ALL OF IT.... cause I'm a mess! Hot mess is actually the correct term for me!
We invited a new person into our family.

Morgan and James

Morgan is James' son who has come to live with us all the way from Lawrence, Kansas!

He's a sweet boy who needs alot of love and attention!

God has prepared ~~our~~ My heart and we I continue to ask for Love like Jesus loves!

Somehow it feels better to think both James and I needed to be prepared. But in a way that is probably true...God has been preparing us in different ways for Morgan to arrive! God just worked alittle harder on ME cause I'm ~~stubborn~~ special.

We spent the afternoon hiking in Estes Park.

well don't you worry cause the one picture taken of me has something wrong with it!

A smudge or shadow if you will...Almost could be mistaken as a white/gray spot in my hair. hilarious....your thinking... Well I ASSURE YOU it is not hilarious (Cara stop laughing) nor a white patch...just my very lovely shiny black hair!
